Maryjo Tipaldo

Maryjo is a native Brooklynite and became a member of NCT in 2002 and auditioned in 2003 for “Pajama Game” where she became part of the ensemble. She had so much fun, she never stopped auditioning. She danced and sang in “Anything Goes” and in “And We’re Still Here”, played a southern belle in “Mame” and in her first non-musical she portrayed Mrs. Fischetti in “These Foolish Things”, She also played an Aristrocrat in NCT’s production of “Jekyll & Hyde”. Learning an Irish brogue in the comedy “Shhh, Don’t Wake the Corpse” was quite a challenge.

Being in NCT shows has really fulfilled the “ham” in her. She presently serves as Secretary on the Executive Board and on the ticket committee for shows.

Prior to her involvement with NCT, she sang with Regina Opera Company’s chorus for 10 years and performed with the Jeff Samaha Singers for 5 years. Along with singing in her church choir, she has also performed with The Chorale Masters entertaining at corporate Christmas parties and charitable organizations.
