Ann Gubiotti

Ann Gubiotti’s introduction to acting was in the spring of 2002 when, on a dare from a friend, she tried out for NCT's production of Guys & Dolls and landed an ensemble role as a “Save your Soul Mission” doll. Although in her heart she really wanted to be one of the hot box dancers and, in spite of being plagued with sounds of "Follow the fold and stray no more..." that to this day still ring in her ear, the experience turned out to be so much fun that she has been in almost every NCT performance since. "I think everyone has a hidden desire to perform on stage. Community theater, especially the wonderful group of people who make up NCT, allows everyone an opportunity to join in on the fun."

Ann's performance credits include ensemble roles in NCT productions of Celebration of Song, Hello Dolly (where she also had the cameo role of Mrs. Rose), Pajama Game, And We're Still Here and Anything Goes. Her supporting roles include Sister Mildred in These Foolish Things, Mrs. Doris Upson in Mame, and Aunt Annie in the February, 2007 production of Shhh! Don't Wake the Corpse. Ann has also performed with Regina Opera and is a member of St. Patrick's choir here in Bay Ridge.

In addition to performing, Ann has served continually on NCT’s Board of Directors from 2004 to the present, first as a board member, and since June 2006 as NCT’s Vice President and Publicity Manager.
